A few things I enjoyed recently and maybe you will too.

Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates! I woke up this morning at 5am to run around my yard and hide a bunch of eggs. We live out in the middle of nowhere with lots of animals, and I also thought it might rain overnight, so I knew I was skirting the line a bit, but it was the only way.

As soon as I opened my bedroom door, I heard “hi mom!” and now I have no idea how to proceed. My kids are biggish - so do I drop the Easter Bunny act now and just get real? Or do I keep the up the ruse and let their imaginations fire as long as they can, in which case I have to tell them they got up before the bunny could hide the eggs? IDK yet - so many parenting decisions are made on a whim because we’re all just winging it, you know?

High this week // I started keeping a list on my phone of nice things I got to enjoy through the week and folks, it is really choosing to walk on the sunny side of the road. I reviewed my choppy, voice-to-text list and was delighted all over again. I felt the sun on my face! I drank a cup of coffee al fresco. Keeping nice things top of mind is such a mood booster.

Low this week // I guess I don’t keep a list of bad things, because I really had to sit and think about this one. IDK the week was really fine. I guess if I had to pick something, there was Tuesday morning when I woke up and it was power snowing, which was a pretty unwelcome sight. But it all melted and we had 70º by the weekend, so like, who cares?

As always, the images are links too!

Aerie - The Wavemaker Striped One-Piece Swimsuit // Can you tell that summer is on my mind? I think this color way would look so freaking good with a tan.

Wit & Delight Glass Straws // I’m just trying to add some fun and whimsy to my life and these reusable straws fit that bill perfectly. Small luxuries!

Etsy Dainty Name Necklace // I saw someone named “CAROLINE” wearing something like this on IG the other day and it was just chic. I also have a long name and I think that’s really the trick with a dangly necklace like this.

Lands End Classic Canvas Tote Bag // A true classic and it’s on a whopper of a sale right now. Like $25 for this big ol’ bag!

Old Navy Eyelet Set // I think I like the white version of this eyelet set best, and I love that it comes in separates in case, like me, you’re different sizes on top and bottom.

Old Navy Linen Set // This looks so chic, doesn’t it? Old Navy continues to surprise and delight me with elevated, but still accessible to the masses, style lately.

The Gap Rainbow Straw Bag // What a fun beach bag! I’m a sucker for anything that comes in a rainbow stripe. It’s just so cheerful!

Versed Skincare and Cosmetics line at Target // I’ve been sold on this brand since Sunday Serum became my holy grail. Sadly it was discontinued, but the experience made me optimistic enough to test drive the new cosmetics product line that launched a few weeks ago. I picked up the serum concealer, gel cleanser, and the multitasking brush. So far, I’m liking everything, but I”ll report back after a few weeks!
