Weekly Recs | October 11, 2026
A few things I enjoyed recently and maybe you will too.
As much as I profess to be a summer girl, when October rolls around, it’s really hard to imagine a better month. Crisp mornings, warm sunny afternoons, drinking hot coffee and cold apple cider. This year I’m making a real effort to cherish the season. Not thinking ahead at all - just plain enjoying October. I’ve been taking a short walk after dinner every night and I think my neighborhood might be at peak fall colors right now. Some trees are already bare and that made me a little sad (everything good goes so quickly, doesn’t it!?) but then I drove one town over yesterday and their trees are still mostly green. So I’ll just extend the season a bit by cruising out that way more in the next couple of weeks.
I’ve been sharing a lot of northern Michigan in the fall over on IG if you’re interested. It’s really a vibe, I swear.

Caramel Apple Pops // Fall has the best treats, no? I look forward to these every year.
The Illustrated Harry Potter Series // I’m reading this with my 10-year old (first timer!) and really enjoying the magnificent illustration on every page. A lovely revisit if you’re planning to watch the new series coming out on Christmas!
Old Navy Platform Clogs // My go-to this season. Plushy enough to wear around the house, but with a hard sole, so I can take them outside too. If you want the Ugg look for less, this is a nice starting point.
Snoopy Witch Air Freshener // For a little festive zjush. It’s the small things, always, isn’t it?
No Boundaries Retro Sneakers // I hyped these last spring when I bought a pair before flying to Barcelona and putting 30,000+ steps PER DAY on them. New colorways are out and I’m hooked on the sky blue. Also love the burgundy for fall. If you need sneakers you can put some miles on at a fair price-point, these are a really excellent pick.
Maeve Sequin Bandana Handbag // Just for fun! A real showstopper and an outfit making piece.
Star Garland // For the gals who lean more celestial and witchy with their Halloween decor. It would transition beautifully into your holiday decor, too.
Green Face Watch // I’d been hunting for a green-faced watch for ages. Since I really only wear silver jewelry, finding one I loved was surprisingly tricky. Imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this one at Kohl’s for such a good price!
