In My Heart -
+You guys, I feel so back on my bullshit lately. I was looking through some notes I made over the last couple of months and literally every month, I had written “survival mode” and boy, was that the truth in March, April and May. But June, baby, we are baaaack. I don’t know, things are just sliding into place and I don’t have any travel planned and I’ve kept up on the laundry. It’s amazing what a clean house and a few back-to-back regular-degular days at work will do for the mind!
+Other nice things this week // Walking through the garden store. Reading back-to-back good books. A 3pm coffee break. The way salads masquerade as entire meals in the summertime. Getting ice cream after dinner. Or for dinner. Wearing an outfit I really like. Etc etc.
+Weather’s been all over the place where I live lately. Come to think of it, Michigan is basically every channel on your baby’s sound machine.

In My Cart -
+Bought 3 cases of my favorite seasonal sparkling water this week. The OG bomb pop flavor IMO that tastes exactly like summer.
+A nice summery shade for the DIY gel manicure girlies (me).
+Considering this big ol’ bucket bag to carry my work stuff. Really seems like it could fit a laptop, lunch, and a pair of winter boots, but doesn’t look like a duffel bag.
+Is this bronzer amazing? It’s been on my radar for a minute and has gone from sold out to back ordered and finally, should be arriving on my doorstep next Wednesday. I have high hopes!
+SPF lip gloss. I’m allegiant to the brand so I grabbed it on a whim. A good thick, semi-tacky gloss that stays put. Skip it if you don’t love sticky gloss though.
+School let out for the summer this week and filling the 9-5 hours with independent play is key. Couple things I’m stocking up on -
Beads and paracord for some diy bracelets and keychains and whatnot.
Blank notebooks for journaling and sketching.
Remember this 20 Questions game? My family loves it - a real crowd please for all the ages.
