A few things I enjoyed recently and maybe you will too.
Has February felt like a weird blur to anyone else? I wouldn’t say that it’s going so fast or anything….more like I can’t focus. So much change and just trying to stay afloat in my day-to-day responsibilities. I have a few days off between changing jobs this week and and I’m really hoping to just settle down a bit.
In other news, I think I’ve hit my winter wall, by which I mean I’m just totally over it. I cannot romanticize anymore snow or cozy evenings at home. I want to be outside! I want to feel the sun on my face! Every winter there’s just a day when I feel like I can’t take it anymore and honestly I’ve hit that wall in January before, so I’m glad to have made it cheerfully enough through to the end of February. Now I’ll get impatient, but really it’s only a few more weeks.
I guess that impatience is leaking into my shopping habits, because looking at what I had my eye on this week, it’s leaning all the way into spring and summer and generally just fantasizing about drinking Palomas on a patio. Let’s get into it, shall we?

Coconut Coffee Scrub and Body Wash // Smells like summer! At least my kind of summer, which is drinking coffee on a patio and being slathered in sunscreen. Yum!
10lb Kettle Bell Weight // Last summer, I embarked on the most entry level kind of weight routine and I’m excited to amp it up ever so slightly. Progress is progress, baby!
Maybelline Lifter Liner // This is literally the best in the business. Charlotte Tilbury has no business charging as much as she does for an inferior product. Take yourself to the drugstore, buy this $8 liner that literally lasts all day long and thank me later.
Old Navy Jelly Flip Flops // TBH I really like these, but they’re spendy and you know I’m a ho for Old Navy anyway, so I’m happily taking home the look for less.
SALTT Electrolyte Drops // Curious to try a dropper bottle instead of buying all those little packets. I’m not sure it’s necessarily more economical but surely less trash!
J. Crew Factory Belted Wrap Coat // Sometimes the coat is the outfit, you know? When it’s cold outside and nobody gets to see your carefully crafted getup anyway, there is much to be said about a good coat that becomes the outfit itself.
The Ordinary Barrier Serum // Ooh a new-to-me product that has secured a spot in my wintertime daily drivers line up. It’s not moisturizing enough to use on its own (I don’t think it’s meant to be, so please don’t read that as a failing of the product) and you’ll want to pair it with your preferred moisturizer, but I really do feel like it puts a nice guard between my skin and the world. Will definitely repurchase!
J. Crew Tortoise Print Leather Bag // A smart, sophisticated bag that pairs nicely with the coat that is thee outfit.
